Who you work with
Tidewright is run by Fletcher Crandall, who spent twenty years running operations teams at State Street, BlackRock and Brown Brothers Harriman before building for small businesses. Running trade operations meant finding where work fell through the cracks between systems and fixing it without breaking what worked. That is the same job in a ten person firm, and it is why every project starts with how your business actually runs.

We start by learning how your business actually works. We keep the systems that already do their job, connect the gaps where practical, and build custom software only where it gives you a clear advantage.
One example: our expert witness client already runs cases, e-signatures and invoicing in PracticePanther and pays experts through QuickBooks. We left both in place and built the command center around them to handle what neither covers: inquiries, expert files, receivables tracking and outreach.

Do I own the site and the code?
Yes. Everything runs on accounts in your name: your domain, your hosting, your email. If we stop working together, nothing breaks and nothing has to move.
Why are the monthly costs so low compared to website builders?
Sites are hosted on Cloudflare, which costs little or nothing for most small businesses. You pay for care, not rent on your own website.
Where does my data live, and who can see it?
On accounts in your name: your hosting, your database, your email. We get access while we work and you can remove it at any time. Private tools sit behind a login with roles and an audit log. When AI is used on your records, only the text it needs is sent to the model provider, and we tell you which provider before anything is built.
Will AI send anything without me knowing?
No. AI researches and drafts. You approve anything that goes out under your name.
Can you work with the tools I already use?
Usually. Practice management, accounting, email and calendar tools can be connected or imported. If a tool you already pay for does the job, we will tell you to keep it.
What is the founding client rate?
The first five clients get 15% off one time work in exchange for a short testimonial and permission to show the project.
